Cherryl S. Espinoza is an Independent producer, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Making XR – a Los Angeles-based Collective that provides Extended Reality (XR) solutions for brands and creators in the XR space. Cherryl has 12 years experience in cross-platform media production across the US and the Caribbean.

She has produced or production managed work for Spike Lee; Hype Williams; Millicent Shelton, Eric Hayward, NIH & Michelle Obama's Foundation; NAACP, UNCF; and record labels across the US. Her work has aired on WTFX-Fox; WLNY-TV/CBS; HBO; Showtime; and screened at AmPav-Cannes and various national & international film festivals.

An Oculus Start fellow, a two-time Oculus LaunchPad Bootcamp Fellow; and an IFP Project Involve Honoree, Cherryl holds a BA in Film and Television/Radio production from Brooklyn College/CUNY; an MFA in Producing from the American Film Institute Conservatory, and a Mixology certificate from Columbia University!

She is currently developing, and negotiating financing and distribution for an episodic, a docu-series, four feature films and a social impact VR project.
